Delivered at an ugly cow-milking hour this morning, and then connected up a while later by the landlord, who hot- (well, warm-)footed it 'round yet again. All fun and games at the flat... for sufficiently ironic values of "fun". In the middle of last Wednesday night, the main fuse blew; apparently a fault with the fuse itself. Thing was so hot that I burnt my finger on it trying to find the circuit-breaker switch that I assumed had tripped, and it seems to have damaged the ceramic holder. Didn't get ( Read more... )

The usual pattern of my "cycling season" is that I get started too late in the year (as well as in the day, often as not), but persist beyond weather and light conditions I'd have turned my nose up at -- or perhaps more accurately, not bothered m'arse with -- earlier.  ( Trundlin' on )
